Products for sale

We offer several different types of yarn for sale, three of our most popular yarns are:

“Gulf Islands Blend”, a blend of alpaca, wool and mohair, which incorporates the best qualities of the three fibres, resulting in a soft, lustrous yarn with good “memory” it comes in a wide range of natural colours or can be custom dyed.

“Salt Spring Soft Spun”, a loosely twisted, irregular single, similar to Lopi, produced from long stapled wool or wool and mohair blend.

“Salt Spring Island Mohair Blend”, a blend of mohair and Border Leicester wool from fleeces produced on Salt Spring Island, a strong , soft yarn with excellent sheen. This yarn comes in natural white or dyed in solid or variegated colours.

In addition to these and other yarns, we now offer for sale batts, in several fibres, standard rovings or drafted rovings, mixed batches of carded fibre for felting or other crafts and alpaca or wool duvets.

Our duvets are made at the mill, using an industrial sewing machine. Using all local fibres, they offer a maximum of insulation without being heavy. We offer standard sizes, from crib to king as well as custom sizes as required.
